In 2023, The Foundation supported the newly renovated Library by purchasing the naming rights of the Teen Center in honor and memory of Daria, former Administrator who passed away in January 2021.  Daria was a huge supporter of libraries; literacy programming and youth engagement and the Trustees are pleased they could honor all her efforts on behalf of the Meriden and Wallingford communiti

The Meriden Historical Society presented a display of Napier memorabilia in the windows of their location on 41 West Main Street.  The Historical Society has a lovely collection of Napier jewelry and collectable pieces including the custom-built Napier board room table inside.  We thank them for keeping our community’s history accessible to all! 

The 2020 Coronavirus Response Fund was created with the James H. Napier Foundation, in partnership with the United Way of Meriden-Wallingford, Meriden Foundation, Cuno Foundation, Record-Journal and Meriden-Wallingford Community Foundation. Over $200,000 was donated by the foundations and community members to provide financial support to local agencies as they respond to the basic and growing needs created by the pandemic.
